Local 1 specializes in bricklaying, refractory and fire brick, stone and marble work, tile setting and finishing, and pointing, cleaning and caulking. Each of these trades offers a unique set of skills to work on a number of major construction sites.
Local 1 offers extensive training for all levels of professional development. The Joint Training and Apprentice Center has an accredited four-year apprentice program. There are many classes offered to cross train and maintain safety certifications.
